Hi all, I've just found out about this site from Anita Tukec who has taken over from Jason in Spain. We paid our deposit 5 years ago this October. We have just recieved a letter from the builder but it is in Spanish. I have been trying to get other peoples email addresses from spain but for privacy reasons this was refused. i think your dead write, we have had enough of there bull now , we must now all stand together and shame these people into action ie either we get some truthfull answers regards la perla and build dates with new contracts or we all go to court for refunds + damages+interest on our deposits as we have been well and truly scammed, the time has come for action not words, what else have we to loose , i will go with what ever it takes now and i think we all should get together and do the same

Hi all have received the letter also and had it translated. It reads " As continuation of the communication that has alredy been sent through our personnel and in your case through the agency of mediators in the formalisation of the contract of buying of the suite subscribed to you in respect of our promotion "Hotel La Perla" in Benalmadena.We are pleased to inform you that the several various haltings that we have suffered as a consequence of the civil actions of character to impose legal prohibition because of the residents association of la perla. This delay accumulated because of modifications of the project which we have had to fulfill in order to adjust to the archeological sites that have appeared in the area. From to date they have proceeded to resume the works having finished the walls, and to contract for new carrying out of these tests. As soon as we have more news in this respect we will contact you."  At first thought this meant resuming the actual hotel build, but now think it means resuming the archeological dig.- any thoughts, joanne.

hi tothz   the agents who were sell ing the aparts on the la perla site were palmera properties in benalmadena, i have paid a deposit on one of the aparts, but i want to get my money back,or sell it on,   but p.p.properties say that at the moment they can not take anty aparts to sell on this dev for their clients

i have had a look on website at auro la perla being sold by spanish living and the pictures of the land they are showing where this dev is to be built is on the exact land where our apt hotel la perla de mirador was to be built, this is also an apt hotel with price lists on show etc .

? has mirador sold this land to a new developer or did he own land in first place, either way if u check it out auro la perla looks like it is being built where i was told our apt hotel was being built 3 years ago

HI ALL THIS IS VERY BAD NEWS ABOUT THE POSSIBILTY THAT THE  SITE HAS BEEN SOLD, AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY LETTER FROM MIRADOR, I HAVE STARTED LEGAL ACTION TO TRY AND GET MY DEPOSIT BACK, BUT NOT MUCH LUCK SO FAR, P.P.PROPERTIES SAY THAT THEY ,. PASSED THE MONEY TO THE INVESTER, SO THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE TO REPAY.SO WHO KNOWS WHAT WILL HAPPEN NOW. I WILL HAVE TO TAKE THIS THROUGH THE COURTS, BUT THIS WILL TAKE A LONG TIME I THINK.

Palmera Properties have for a few years been conning people with their developments, mis-selling developments and promising things on the developments that never exist, i.e. garages that never are, pools that don't get built, licences that are never passed and their past selling is based on complete unconcern for making hundred's of peoples lives a misery.

Meanwhile the directors sit in their properties with your money (money taken ilegally if no licences in place) and never wanting to pay anyone back their hard earned cash.

They now trade as International Property Link, hiding their shameful dealings with previous customers and many lawyers on the coast of spain have cases against Palmera, form many, many clients.  At some stage this company should be brought to justice and this will only be a matter of time.

Even many staff are leaving...the reason...they are sick of defending the illegal holding of money. (I have the evidence !)  

Palmera, if you are reading this, why don't you for a change, action your hundreds of unhappy customers. You are a disgrace to all the other good agents in Spain. 

How you sleep at night knowing what you are doing is a mystery.

havent we already been down this road before when the news paper got intouch with us all , it didnt get us our money back but it opened the door on how best going about getting it back ie put us intouch with gwilym at the cds action group which i and a few others have now joined , as the reporter and gwilym of the action group keep saying to us , we have to all join together as a group , i am not against any bad publicity for pp and mirador but the point is after the programme is finnished we will still be out of pocket because of these poeple because untill you start legal proccedings against them there is no way they will give money back , they are used to bad publicty as they have been scamming poeple for years, in spain you can basically get away with fraud aslong as it does not go to court, believe me if theres enough of us against them they wont take the chance of court as it is criminal fraud and if found guilty they will have big problems, it isnt alot of money to them to take that chance, going to the tv  company wont get any money back as they will just tell us to do what the paper already told us to do, its the only way if you want to get your money retturned, believe me i didnt waste my time meeting the lawyer in spain last week , it is now in the hands of the cds action group lawyers for me now
