Altenative internet provider on Roda Golf...

I am presently using Telefonica for my internet provider from when I purchased my apartment from new. The cost has not gone up or down over the three years of continuous use. The price now seems rather expensive due to the financial situation nose diving as we speak so I need an alternative supplier.  I have tried a dongle device but being positioned on the ground floor the signal strength for this type of device is almost non existent in or out of the apartment.

My question is, has anyone signed up to another supplier on Roda Golf using the Telefonica landline and what type of experience have you had in transferring over to them..... I have a strange feeling that the telephone lines in Roda go to a central hub that prevents this cross over happening.....

Any help would be much appreciated.

Internet in Spain is expensive however If it is a Telefonica line then it is possible to move to another provider where you will get a lower cost but also a lower speed

There are a number of alternate providers and all you need to do it contact the provider with the telephone number and they can advise if this is possible to manage and move the line, and providers include people like Europa, Round Town News Networks, Citrus Red, Bubble

The other thing is that the dongles do work well but obviously service cover varies so check what mobile network works best in your area, the one with the best signal strength and then normally that will provide the best internet access
