Hello everybody,
I have just received the following from my agent who I am dealing with regarding my Granada apartment at Trampolin Hills, and I quote:-
Trampolin working hard with the infrastructure at the moment, in the Costa Calida it is standard practice for the infostructure to go in prior to the final signature being granted on the building licence, which is where we are at the moment. Building is hoped to commence on structures in the summer time.
Regarding NIE numbers aaaarrrrgggggh !! At the minute applications for NIE numbers are taking ages to come through as all the Romanians who were in Spain before they joined the EU are applying for numbers so they can work legally, as such the system can`t cope. Add this to a change in the NIE number valid date and it`s chaos ! Just this week we found out that now NIE numbers are only valid for 3 months and then you need to renew them for another 3 months, and so on.....! Fortunately notary offices are not enforcing this law at the minute and still allowing people to sign for properties with ``out of date`` NIE numbers, although they will no longer except photo copies....no original NIE number - No Signing......! UNQUOTE.
I hope this helps a few so you all know where we are at the moment.
This infomation came from Tony at Belmonte International and as far as I know is TRUE.
cheers for now
Brian
