When I changed soilcitors in January 2005 he was told by the PP solicitor that I could not buy the property as it was V P O and only Spanish people could buy them and that I would have to give it back to the builders and may not get my money back.. This is when PP stopped selling them. My solicitor then did a search with the land registory and the town hall, when it came my block had never been registered as V P O property so I know that I have not got a problem when I told PP they then started selling then again.
I have a contract from mirador and it says that it is V P O but this is not true as I have said. It also says that I had to pay the I V A on the 30 December 2002 which I did as they would take it off me if I did not pay, as this is not due untill completion by Spanish law I have to take this as Miradors completion date.
If you go to the Mirador web site and got to the British spec page http://www.grupomirador.com/en/promociones/p_inmobiliarias/piedra/piedra_calidades.htm
you will see that date on this spec is 7th November 2002 now I think this is before any deposits were paid and any contract was issued ( the date no mine is 22nd January 2003) as I was one of the first to buy so some of the extras that Mirador want paying for are on this spec like U P V C windows and spa bath
I am going out on the 1st October to try to get some answers from PP & Mirador but I am hoping for a lot as it like platting sawdust
