Spaniard Inn - Ryder Cup

Hi all,

Thanks again for your positive comments, as always we strive to improve all aspects of the pub, we have recently added full and half racks of smokey BBQ ribs to the menu and are proving very popular.  On the sport front we have added a large screen projector which has greatly improved the viewing pleasure for all of our sports fans.  We have also increased our sports options to include comprehensive golf coverage with the Ryder Cup, including all the build up, Premiership rugby and Scottish football.

Have you any live entertainment on Ryder Cup Saturday as we have lots of people coming over .

just got a pm from kev to say they installed the new tv channel last friday which will show the Ryder cup on an English speaking channel called showtime. Great news

Hopefully I have done this correctly as its my first reply on the forum although I have read them all for many months.

Myself and 3 mates have just returned from 4 days golfing at HDA and spent many a long hour in the Spaniard Inn

Jo, Kev , Frankie and all the team made us feel so welcome , from opening early to do us a brilliant breakfast , sorting rugby on the televisions for our evening entertainment ( and X Factor !!) and general being fantastic hosts

Anyone visiting the resort should give these guys a visit as they deserve to succeed with all the effort they are putting in 

Thanks again to all for making our trip memorable and I will be back next year with the family for holidays and back  with the lads for another trip asap
