Hiya!

Just wondering what payment terms you have all got.  We were told 20% now and 20% within 4 months, yet a friend who has just bought at Taray says he's only paying 20% now and the rest on completion..has anyoe else manged to secure this deal?  Be interested in finding out as it makes the development even more attractive

hi

my payment terms are 30% paid over 12 months i made them that offer and they accepted it.

the reason they want 40% is cos 30% is tarrays and the other 10% is the agents and as soon as you pay the full 40% the agent gets paid. they are very flexible  with payments its the agents that push for the 40% asap

if you need to know anything else let us know

cheers

iain

Hi All,

Like Iain, our deposit was 30% the rest payable on completion. We were not asked to pay a higher percentage and as we had also looked at other off plan properties elsewhere, it seemed to be about the going rate, so we accepted it.

So Really 20% is a good deal!  I know it doesn't make any difference to the final price but it does if like us you are borrowing the initial deposit...Thanks for that guys

Hi to everyone

The difference in deposits is really odd.  We had to pay 40% within the first 3 months even although the property won't be ready until March 2008.  This was through Parador Properties.

Hi

We paid 15% after 30 days, then we are paying another 15% after 90 days, with balance on completion.

They wanted 40% but by asking the question there was no problem, the builders seem to have been very helpful on this.

Andy & Donna Walsh.

nb - Our move in date is March 08 on block 5
