PABLOS INTERNATIONAL BAR THE LITTLE BAR WITH THE BIG
Situated at Parque del Duque, Playa Flamenca
Is a relatively new bar on the block, but one that has made an amazing impact, and the bar that everyone is talking about. Basically I think it´s running well because they have great staff, and good entertainment to suit everyone...
Entertainers include: The infamous Wayne Fontana,(back in June) DJ´s: Julie McCracken, Davy Jones from TKO and Deano, soul DJ Exite FM. With all their latest sound and lighting technology, makes for a lively show.
Pablos celebrated it´s first anniversary on 18th December and what a party that was. Unfortunately I was away on my annual visit to the UK, otherwise it certainly would not have been a party I would have liked to miss.
Since opening it´s doors, Pablos has become the place to be, the hub of the community being very popular with the locals, offering live entertainment most nights of the week, Bingo, Spanish lessons and so much more ...
This is no surprise as owners Maggie and Paul are two of the nicest people you could meet, and there is always a warm welcome in their pub, along with their warm friendly bar staff, Dave, Nadine and Julie.
Wednesday nights, Friends 4u Abroad hold their Social Night, at Pablos, and it has become a bit of a Jazz club night with DJ Deano and Patty Ross, and singers who call in for a drink often end up singing a few songs of their own, all makes for a great party atmosphere. Along with good food served at 5€ a head to include a glass of beer.
In the summer months Pablos hosts BBQ outside on their garden patio, and at local events such as St.Georges Day, where they have supported the local community, by providing a bar with pig roast for the day.
Maggie always amazes me where she gets her energy from, running an aerobics class at The Emerald Isle three mornings a week, where does she find the time to do all this. She must be one of today´s super women.
Coming Up!...
St.Patricks day will be with Julie McCracken... we have a lot to look forward to.
For those of you who haven´t called in to Pablos yet, you don´t know what your missing...
