SOLMAR Car Hire

Out next week and our car hire is with solmar, last time we were in murcia airport there office was closed down and we saw people being bus, does anybody know were you are bus too.

 I am sure that the carpark is just outside the airport so you should be there in a couple of minutes

It's only 2-3 mins away and easy to find on return - they give you a map to assist.

We were out a fortnight ago and as always with Solmar (in my experience) they were excellent,

Hi hendert, if you do not like the idea of boarding a bus to get the car as opposed to the preferable pickup inside the terminal. You can ring the company and they will change it to one inside like i did. A couple of days ago i booked with economy for end of may i would of had to do the same i phoned them and they changed it. They close at 11pm then you get charged 20 euros to pick you up by taxi to get your car. I changed it to auriga crown. Good luck.

To the best of my knowledge solmar are the only company that let you pick up the car full of fuel and bring it back empty, that is why i would normally use them. On my last vist solmar had no cars available so i ended up with auriga crown and they charged me €85 for a tank of diesel for a ford focus which should cost about €60 in Spain, so i will make sure i book early the next time, I can live with the 3 minute bus journey.

I have used Centauro car hire and they give you a fuel choice of full - full or full - empty.  Why, I don't know.   Always been happy with their service.

Hi me and my wife Carol were out last week we got a car from gold car brand new ford  only 36 miles on the clock   we got a full tank of fuel and we were told to  bring the car back empty? . the weather was great sunny every day mid 20 to 30 we had 9 days of sunshine we came back on Sunday .  We will try to get back out in july? if not  the end of August I hope everyone has  a great summer on condado happy holidaysCarol&Malc
