Horse Riding

I've been asked by a friend if there is any horse ridng around Condado?

I seem to recall a thread on this many months ago

There is a riding stable about 10 mins drive away towards Murcia called Meta. Our daughter went riding there last year. Nice place and very friendly.

My daughter has also been to Meta and loves it! They speak Spanish and English and cater for all levels of riding experience!

We were at Condado last Sat and went  horse riding at Meta and we enjoyed it very much.We went with our 2 teenage Daughters who have no experience.They told us it was 25euros and they have a stamp for each time you go and you get a free ride every 6th time you go.We said we may not get back for a time so they reduced our price to 20 euros each,good value.They take you through the lemon and orange trees on the horses and they let you get involved in taking the saddle of and washing the horse down very much hands on.and to finish of we got a free bottle of cava.pat

We too have visited Meta. We took our Goddaughter there a couple of yrs ago.She had a great time & spent two full days & 2 half days there. Lizzy & staff are so friendly. Unfortunatly because we do not visit Condado during School holidays & Chloe is now to miss school she has not been over with us since but still talks about Meta & the horses.

I`m sure that no mater what your riding skills are or how old your are. Lizzy & team will make you very welcome

No they just have a vending machine for soft drinks and water.Pat

It has been a couple of years since our visit. They did have a fridge that you could put your food in & also free tea, coffee & soft drinks available. Things may have changed since then .Hopefully someone will update you if thats the case

We took chloe & stayed during the first two sessions but as she felt so at ease with everyone & because her next visit was an all day one we took her  & returned  later.

Chloe was about 10 then & had been riding since she was 4. There was a younger girl who Clo made friends with who had never ridden before but after her first session she told her parents to go as she was having a great time. I think her parents arranged with Ham to go back each time Clo was there.

Clo went  a few more times after that both a full day & a half day & each time  & both gils were left with Lizzy
