Congratulations and welcome to the CDA family I am sure you will love it when you get your apartment just the way you want it.
The first thing you need to make sure you have arranged is your water with Urbaser and your electricity with Iberdrola so at least you have power and running water to clean the apartment as i fit is anything like ours was when we first got there it was absolutely filthy and needed cleaning 3 times before we would even consider putting any furniture in the apartment....
Ask any question on this furum and you will get an answer from somebody as there are lots of people willing to help and can point you in the right direction

Welcome to CDA and congratulations!
If you haven't already hired a keyholder I would strongly recommend that. We completed on our ground floor apartment end of March, and hired Naranjosuno (dot com) as our keyholder (ptan on this forum). They have been really helpful and very reasonably priced. Thanks to them and Steve (endpeg on this forum), I could arrange everything from Norway, and we came down to an apartment ready to enjoy this Easter (first visit). Steve helped us with shopping at IKEA, transport and assembly. I can highly recommend both Naranjosuno and Steve.
I also want to say that we all loved CDA (wife, son (4 years old) and me). We really look forward to spend 4 weeks there this summer.

Someone who can give advice on the purchase of furniture, I've looked at CDA Services furniture pack.

Welcome to the forum. I would recommend that you sit down with the Ikea catalogue and write up a list of things and Steve (Endpeg) will go off and collect and install them for you. That way you have very little hassle and can walk into a fully furnished apartment. The Ikea kitchen 'starter box' is brilliant! I imported my furniture from Indonesia - for a fraction of the UK or Spanish retail price and, although it took a bit of time, the process was relatively straightforward. I can give you - or anyome else completing - the supplier and the Spanish shipping agency info if interested. You can view my place at www.alhamagolfapartment.co.uk to get an idea of the stuff I imported. Arlene.
