I would also like to know why the football pitches have been left to rot, we can always put a few jumpers down on the nice big greens
we pay one of the highest c/charges around shurely they could cut the grass
maybe ml are getting a bit complacent as people do ,may be a few emails to let them know
i dont care who or whats responsible for them they should just get on with it.
they work for us and should stop running around for some of the presidents and get on with the up keep of condado

The Community charge does not cover upkeep of the Football Pitches,
The Football pitches are owned and maintained by POLARIS not the owners.
1 Pitch has this week been cut and tidied up at our expense so people can enjoy a game of football.
If you want to rant about the pitches e-mail polaris not Mileniun.
If you are not satisfied with your President then Stand yourself?

I think the important point is that once again we are relying on Polaris to maintain one of the resorts assets, and they aren't doing it.
It seems crazy to let the pitches, which were excellent last year go to ruin. Can the cost of cutting and maintaing the pitches not be paid for out of the community funds ?
Once again I feel it is the commmunitys duty to not let the general area and facilities become tatty. Its no use blaming Polaris. We all know they couldn't care less

Guys
Can some body confirm?
Are the football pitches under community control or not?
Even if not, doesn’t it make sense to keep the grass cut so that the kids can use them this summer?

I'm seeing many comments about the upkeep of facitities and fixing of problems by polaris.
Polaris are what they are. They will only do something if they are forced to, either by law or better still and cheaper ,direct action.
I will be over from the 17th May to 1st of June and am willing to give up a day of my family holiday to go down to the head offices with some Plackards and media.
If a group of us do it, even a small one and its well organised it may be effective.
At least we can sleep well knowing we did something about it.

I did ask polaris and they said they dont mind them cutting it..
give my 10e each and i will cut it ,not a lot else to do.
TQM you say in the last 48hrs you where told ?
but you say good bye every 48hrs ? you say you do not own or go to condado ? you say a load of bull !

The community gardeners cut the grass on the football pitch at the request of the presidents, your comment re ML is lost on me as a community we employ a large number of locals to provide services to the community. Don't know why you felt to urge to contact Polaris on this matter, you should be contacting your president who would of told you what is going on!

Guys
It is hard to comment from afar but the maintenance of the football pitches is something that we really should have more control over. Unlike the sports complex which is owned by the bank the football pitches appear still to be in the control of Polaris. The previous comments appear to suggest that the grass has been cut just recently by the community only after an intervention of some sort! This is a concern as it suggests that we may be taking the hard line with Polaris on this one. It’s pretty clear that Polaris are now offsite and really don’t care as to how the complex looks now as there is no commercial benefit to them, as anything they have in place today is really only to hold up the absolute minimum requirements. I really think if we want this project to succeed we should be looking to maintain these pitches even if it is at our cost until we can get some agreement from Polaris if possible to keep them open. This surely should not be difficult. It would be really disappointing for a family to arrive onsite this week or during the summer to find the only real amenity left for the kids in disarray as it would speak volumes about the future of the amenities onsite. This resort is not just for the residents it is also for the owners/visitors who use the resort with their families all be it infrequently.
