long term rental required within 30 minutes of alicante/murcia airport

Does anybody know if Bank Guaranty's were issued for the Santa Maria Village build?  How would I have a copy? Would it be with my lawyer? is it part of the contract?  Any help appreciated.

I believe the bank gaurantees are with Cajamar in Elviria.

If you have signed over already your lawyer will have these details, you should have a copy of these when you first put your deposit down, check with your Lawyer.

Having chased my lawyer again they state that they never received the Bank Guaranty from SIFASA despite requesting it on numerous occasions.  This means that my lawyer let me proceed on a developemnt when they didnt actually know if there was a bank guaranty in place or not which concerns me greatly.

Has anyone actually seen the SIFASA guaranty?

I personally deal with Sifasa nearly on a daily basis, my husband and i manage 9 Long Term tenants on here and two with non rental status on this urbanisation,  so the snaggings are never endingbut nearly completed,  as we have a good relationship with the builder and the ladys in the office,.

Whenever we have needed help or an enqury they have helped us immediately, including the Administraion office, it may be due to me us living here, and knowing fully about the area we work in and the people.

I will enquire this week and up date you as soon as we can, sorry for delay, very hectic here rental season, we are very sorry for not replying sooner.

Debbiep - there is a message regarding maintenance of letting properties under Bank Guaranty.    You originally replied that the Bank Guaranty was held by Cajamar - has anybody actually seen a copy of this Bank Guaranty, and where is it retained????

As far as I understand, the purpose of a bank guarantee is to safeguard peoples deposits should a developer go bust before the development is completed - as Santa Maria is now complete and the developer has not gone bust, then the need for the guarantee is redundant .  I don't know why anyone should want to see it!
