USS ENTERPRISE AMERICAN AIRCRAFT CARRIER

The USS Enterprise is currently moored at Cartegena, the ship holds  up to 90 aircraft,  3000 crew is 342 mt long, thought that anyone interested in military  hardware/aircraft/ships might be interested.....

Best to see coming down to port, at the last roundabout with crane on turn towards Escombras, up the hill a bit and park up, shes at sea moored until Monday we understand.

not quite the same but have you been to the museum to the ampi theatre in carteganga or the tin mines just outside or the fort nd guns just outside mazarron these are great attractions too 

I first saw the Enterprise way back in the 60's , just after she was launched and paid a goodwill visit to Sydney.

She was moored in the harbour as she was too big for a berth ( about 65000 tons , from memory ) and she was the first US navy nuclear powered carrier to be built.

She was absolutely massive and an awesome sight.
