Hi all,
Just bought an appartment but didnt purchase a parking slot. What is your opinion or what do most people do? I have been told there is plenty of parking nearby.
Thanks,

Spartan,
As far as I know there is plenty of parking but its a nightmare to find a free place i.e. demand outstrips supply. It really boils down to if you need it or not. I bought a place in block 6 last June and am not going to bother about a parking place purely because I'm only interested in the area as a holiday home/ to let/ investment and not to live in. If your going to live there for long periods its an idea to invest in it if not I wouldn't bother.
Any other thoughts out there? This message was last edited by rabc77 on 3/7/2007.

We have bought a space simply because when this gets built there are going to be an awful lot more cars vying for the parking space around the complex, it is also part of the investment and will be handy when we retire out there.

To be honest we though the cost of the parking to be too high so we never bothered. If the developers do not sell all of the spaces perhaps they will consider reducing the prices. When we visited in Sept 05 I noticed there was a large free public car park within a couple of hundred metres from the apartment block albeit we will be in block six. We will not be there often with a vehicle so did not conisder a parking space to be a priority. we would much prefer to furnish the apartment with the money.

just back from almerimar, a word of warning regarding the parking of cars, they are closing the marina of in the summesr, and when we were over the marina was very busy with cars parked around it and it was hard to get a space, but there was no people about the marina , so think it was the property owners cars around the area. we are looking into buying a space as we will be living there fulltime, but parting with 35000 euro is not easy, went into the proindal office and they were very helpfull, ask for SAM JONES she is an english girl and is so helpfull, regarding the kitchen units the bottom half is a dark red and top is white with a gray ceramic work top, i took a photo of it and will put it on the web site,

yes the price of the garages differ, the closed in garages also have storage space, which is what we need as we;ll be living their, but parking spaces start at 15000 euros, and any joe public can buy one, not just residents of porofino. i loaded the photos on the site today.

Prices seem fairly high to me and we have not previously had any problems parking, presumably if you do want to purchase a parking space/ storage this is done direct with Proindal?
