To all residents and non residents of Sierra Golf
Jose and myself never asked for the bingo to be held at La Roca, we was approached before we opened, as Mataus didn't have electric, by Ray and Sue if they could hold it here so you could continue to play we said yes, but we had no drinks, pumps, nothing, but all were welcome to use the facilities, we rushed around to clean seats and supply ice. When asked after if the bingo could move when we opened, Jose said no as Mataus is his friend, many people asked us why could the bingo and quiz not move, all for above reasons.
When we were approached by Ray and Sue again and asked if they could hold the bingo at La Roca, stating Mataus never had any drink, but if they were to move they would charge me 30€ at the time we thought that they did the bingo as a social event to bring the whole of Sierra Golf together. The bingo was set up by Ray, Sue, Dennis and Sue, until Ray and Sue decided to charge Mataus (as told to Jose by Mataus), so Dennis and Sue got sacked. Jose and myself decided to pay the 30€ only so Sierra Golf could keep their bingo.
But when they decided to approach Pepe and ask if they could hold the bingo in his bar, with the reasons that the residents of Sierra Golf were unhappy coming to La Roca and that we charged them 50€, the first we hope people are happy coming here, we try our best. Secondly i never charged 50€, Ray and Sue charged us and many people have asked me and all this was told to Jose by Pepe and Mataus. Then of course they needed a reason to get the residents down to Pepe's bar and this was done by informing all that La Roca was closing in the winter and they needed somewhere else to take the bingo.
ALL NOT TRUE WE ARE NOT CLOSING!
Wrong or not our thinking was that Ray and Sue was going to do the same to us as they did Mataus and take bingo elsewhere, So when Pepe and Mataus informed us, we decided to do the bingo ourselves, but we waited for the jackpot to be won, as we know Ray and Sue would take it with them even though it belongs to La Roca as we paid for the privilege of having the bingo so all the residents and non residents could continue with their weekly entertainment.
But bingo will continue at La Roca on Wednesday at 9pm with a jackpot of 50€ at 45 numbers donated by ourselves and play your cards right with Ray at 250€ and surprise bingo lots to be won!
Just to add both Jose and myself wish Ray and Sue all the best in the future and we hope the next bar to employ them, they show more loyalty.
