Abusive clause Question

Hi all,

our buildngs and contents insurance expires shortly.  I remember at one of the community meetings there was mention of not needing buildings insurance because it is covered by the community insurance and that the company supplying that cover will offer cheaper contents cover for owners. Firstly is there a need to take out seperate buildings cover and has anyone gone down the route of insuring with the community insurer?

I did my insurance through my bank (Solbank). They charged me 197 Euros for contents and building. I think you will find that you need building insurance to comply with your mortgage agreement.
