Hi,

Any Ocean Greenites out there who would be willing for Maria Del Castro ( Costa Luz Lawyers) to act on our behalf to reclaim our deposits from the bank. Her fees are 5% of the money claimed back but she said if we have more claimants involved the fees should reduce.

I  have been following this thread for a while now but this is the first time I have actually posted a message.

I am one of those unfortunate people who bought an off plan apartment in this development back in 2005.

I do not wish to complete on this property and it would be great to have the deposit back.

I have informed my solicitors many times that this is my favourite outcome but of course ( since banking their legal fees) my solicitors find it impossible to answer my call or reply  to my emails.

I was expecting to be contacted by the Bank owning this development ( is it La CAIXA )  ? but  so far nothing.

 So, I would be interested to explore the Maria del Castro option ( pending further clarification on costs and charges).

The original bank was Caja Rural del Mediterraneo and La Caixa took over the development.

To MAA,
I'm in same position as you.
It is a bankruptcy and although I've cancelled my interest in the property, and am now registered as a creditor, I've been told that there is no chance that I will get my deposit back.
