IBI Tax

Hi all

Has anyone received their IBI tax bill yet and if so can you say how much it is and are all the amounts the same we are in 2851?

We have contacted the Town Hall twice asking for the bill to be sent to the UK address and how much it will be but have not had any answer from them.

We have paid ours by going to the municipal offices in Torre  Pacheco. Ours was 212 Euros. We're in block 285 aswell.

We moved in in June 2010, but the first bill only became available in September this year.

I am fairly sure it depends how you have arranged to pay & you only receive a bill if you do not pay by Direct Debit.  Might be worthwhile ringing the town hall to get it sorted before the deadline. 

We also paid ours last week at the Municipal Building in Torre Pacheco. We hadn't received any bill so we were a bit concerned on how we would be able to pay it . I took along some ID with our property address on it ( domestic bill, mortgage agreement, passport etc). My sister speaks a little spanish so she was able to communicate on our behalf. They took our name and the assistant was able to print us off a copy of our invoice. Ours was also aroud 211 Euro. There is a machine in the office that you can pay your bill by credit or debit card or you can also pay it at some Banks.  The gentleman in the office was very nice but that may have something to do with the fact that he was dealing with two dumb blondes.

Hi Saige,

               If you go to the resortalia/ terazzas home page there is a link to nrt@resortalia.com which is the solicitors resortalia recommend for payment of non residential tax. We used them this year to sort out all our tax and for a charge of €3,50 they paid our council tax for us this week. Very convenient and saves going out there to pay it. They also sent us the direct debit forms to pay future council tax & a translated copy for us non spanish speakers

We also used that solicitor but only for the non residence tax. I emailed them the other day and have just received a reply today,they have also sent a D/D but to start next year and want us to send them the bill to pay for this year but we dont have it.

We will think of something but thanks for your help.

                  We e-mailed the town hall and they sent us the bill by e-mail this is the link to the town hall, mailto:ayuntamiento@torrepacheco.es if this doesn't work then this is the address for the man that actually sent us the bill alvador.cazorla@torrepacheco.es  if this doesn't work  then i don't know what you can do other than going over for it. Think I can help, as I go to Torre Pacheco quite often, and this will take no more than 5 minutes:

You can use my web form to send me the following details:

- Names of the owners of the property. As the town-hall will have only one name, and it can be yours, or your wife, or whoever else bought the property.

- Plot number. Is it only 2851? Without a letter?

Don't worry for the cost, these little things I do for free.
