We came to purchase our apartment on the 24 th Oct and booked as usual with doyouspain which are agents for advantage. We book with them to get a Smart car with automatic as my partner is unable to drive a manual due to an artificial limb. Wwe were offered an upgrade but this was not auto and they had nothing else to offer. They then offered a taxi to our hotel with possibility of giving us an auto the next day, we had no guarentee this would happen as we would also have to pay for the taxi which they said they would refund......, finally they found that they did have an auto Smartcar parked in the bays, this was an hour and a half after arriving. Looking on the site for next they do not seem to quote an auto smart car. Does anyone know if all smear cars as semi auto as the ones we have had from them are. Also we would welcome knowing of a good local hire company. We are going to be comming over often,we have purchased close to Brisas. One tip is to buy an annual CDW excess yearly cover,costs the same as the charge for one weeks hire-great value and saves you that 5e a day charge. Many thanks Christine
