Interested to hear that you have new solicitors. Did you ask if the builders have got planning permission in the first place. With land grab this is vital information.
Questions to our solicitor go unanswered (Euro Anglo Surs own) she seems only intent on wanting power of attorney which we have never agreed to.
I had an email apologising for saying that she had POA but the next one was again saying that she would have us sign for POA. on the next visit. NO WAY.
I initally asked about builders guarantee, but was told that they would not give a copy without payment. Not if they had it or not.. Evidently you have to ask the right questions as they do not look into things as in UK.
Also asked about Licence of first occupation without this we do not get water or electricity supplied.
The only reply was again about signing for POA.
But if asking the question does not get a reply what are we paying them for.
