La Isla maintance fee

Hello everyone,

Just checking on information I have been given, I just got a bill in for 300 euors  for 3 months, I was told the fee would be 70 euros, per month.....huge difference, can anyone share any light on this, much appricated,

We were told 70 when we signed up in 2007. Since we completed in 2009 its been  around a 100 euros a month. It does vary slightly depending on what type of  apartment you have.

Thanks ever so much for confirming that.....almost nice to know we are all been given the same figures.  Im in Blcok 2.  I see there has been drain pipes fixed to some of the building, to catch some unwonted water...I walked around the Island at xmas time, and had a good look at what has not been built acording to the proposed plans set out.  anyway, I am so happy with my buy.

Yes hi...its taken from your account ok... along with insurance (life) and buildings and contence...im with banco de velencia.

The Community Charge (approx 100 Euro per month) will be taken from your bank account every 3 months by the administrators for Condado, Mileniun Levante. Buildings insurance is included in your community fee but you may have to take your mortgage providers insurance for the first year. You will need to give 3 months notice to cancel your existing policy when it is due for renewal and possibly submit a copy of the community insurance policy to your bank (Mileniun will send them copy if you ask).

The drain pipes fitted to divert water overflow from the planter boxes are against the community rules and I think those that have fitted them will be/have been asked to remove them.
