I have purchased an apartment in Phase 4, Block 11. My lawyers informed us that completion would be June 2007. However, I have now been informed that completion has been brought forward to Dec 2006. Has anyone else heard this?

We also have an apartment in Phase 4, Block 11 and have been told by several people, including our Spanish bank manager (who phoned Arenal Golf in Marbella whilst we were in his office) that completion for block 11 would be December 06.
Going out again on October 15th, will let you know if we find out anything to the contrary.

I will certainly post photos that I will be taking in October, also will let you know how everything is progressing. Was last there in June and the golf course in front of Block 11 was looking great then so I guess it has matured even more now.
Will be in contact when I get back mid-oct.

We have an apartment in Block 11 Phase 4 which we had been told would complete December 06. We were in Spain in October to arrange our mortgage with BBVA and left our application with our bank manager to proceed with the valuation etc. We have just received a phone call this week-end from the bank manager informing us that the date will be put back to February/March. We have tried to confirm this with Arenal 2000 sales office and Head Office in Marbella but no one was answering the phones. We will try and get this confirmed tomorrow morning and will let you all know the outcome.

We too have purchase in block 11 phase 4 and were told by the sales office in mid-October that completion date was to be 30th December '06.
We look forward to hearing how you get on with your inquiries as it will make a difference in planning the date of our next visit.

Have just spoken to Arenal 2000 and they have confirmed that completion to Block 11 will be March 2007. I suggest that you should ring Arenal 2000 direct to find out the time-scale for your individual block. Telephone number in Marbella is 0034 952 89 9099. Also my bank manager has confirmed same date. Looks like I'm going to have to re-schedule my travel plans!

We have just got back and they are currently applying for the habitation licence for phase 4 blocks 1-3, I believe. They probably wont get this till the new year. Then 6-8 weeks for the valuation, deeds signing etc.

I an also purchasing on phase 4, block 4, is it definate that they are completing in March and where did you get your info from as this would suite me better. I was over there last month with my friend who signed for her apartment in phase 3 and was very suprised by how small the apartmnts are. The shower cubicle/tray is very small compared to the nes on phase one.

Has anyone enquired into lost revenue for rental due to the late delivery of the property?
Also, can someone explain when all taxes are due. ie on completion (after snagging is complete),
