Hi all,
ML has just e-mailed to confirm that community fees are to rise by 3% due to IVA increase. No problem with that, but wasn't the IVA increase several months ago? I haven't heard of another increase imposed by the Government.

There was an increase in IVA from 18%-21% in September 2012. I have had a quick check on google and there is no mention of any further increases.
Although I have not yet received the email from ML.

Darren, this is what I received a few minutes ago. It is dated today, brief and to the point. Anyone else received it?
Dear owner,
We inform you that due to the increase of VAT, the community fees will rise 3%. This change will be applied from the next quarterly fees payment.

Yep, the 3% increase was well known by all ( including ML ) back in Aug last year and came into effect 1st September 2012.
As to why this was not taken into account in the budget they proposed in the Nov/Dec AGM's and as to why they seem to of ignored it, ( dispite the fact they would of being paying the new rate on all contractes since last September ), who knows????

It would have been nice to have a bit more notice for those of us that weren't aware that the IVA went up? Does it mean that the increase is included in our fees that are payable in a few days? Our first payment, as a new owner, we were told of the fees after they had already received the money a few days earlier. We would normally have received a refund if done in the UK as not given 14 days notice in advance. Is this the same in Spain, anyone know?

I also recieved the email
very frustrating since at the time of being a member mid dec 2012 I was told by ML that the fee would decrease with a new budget
the new budget is set if I understood it correctly but no decrease of the fee
and also I wonder, is this ML way of financing the internet fee that now is "included" in our fee?!
