Hi Would it be possible to have a bicycle park area by the clover and Condado club. We have visited a few, times and bikes are just dropped on the floor outside the front door ( which a hazard) and also looks very bad. If a store was provided at the side of the places perhaps this might tidy things up an prevent any potential accidents? Cheers Neil

Thanks Neil it seems from you statement that bikes are only left outside the clover and Condado club strange why only our places. And not the supermarket. Ice cream parlour or other restaurants. ? We are constantly asking for bikes to be moved and kept safe but when a child of 3 or 4 drops a bike in the entrance we can only move it when we see it and the children I don't think would place bikes in racks if they are willing to drop them in door ways. I have no problem with anyone wanting to improve things but simply approach us at the bars and discuss please do not single us out on this forum. To many people have tried to use this site to tarnish people without cause. Don't let it happen. Condado is a great place and we have invested more than anyone in it and will continue to do everything we can to support the community and improve the resort. But will never stand by and allow anyone to single us on a public forum. Come in and discuss it is the decent thing to do. Hope this is the end of this Neil

if you want a cycle park approach the administrator and ask them, this is nothing to do with the individual businesses. This message was last edited by andyclarke on 13/04/2013.

Hi Neil, I think you may have taken my post very badly. Firstly I was making a suggestion to improve the area. Secondly I have been to other places on the site and because of the locations and how they are set out the problem is not as bad as the clover, but yes bikes are left by the Spar and other places. The club does not suffer as much but would be a added feature. I do take your point of children dropping the bikes outside without care, however if a point was avialable it would be somewhere to direct them. The post was not an attack on the clover or club AT ALL just a suggestion for a improvement. As the clover seems to be the main focal point on an evening and with the door location etc the problem may only become worse. So please accept this as an explanation of my mail and I hope you understand that in no way was this intended to be an attack on you or the Clover. It's a real shame that you cannot just post a simple suggestion on here without people critiquing methods and giving a judgement on it rather than taking it as a simple suggestion. AndyClarke I thank you for your reply, and I will keep a very good eye out on any of your posts to see if they are worthy of posting. Sorry Neil I too hope this is the end of it!! Neil

Lynn, which Neil?
I do think Neil2610 was not making a personal attack on anybody and just suggesting a simple improvement that could enhance the resort. This message was last edited by darren.wilkes on 12/04/2013.

I knew as soon as I posted it I should have said which one lol!
I meant Neil who posted the question originally!
Mind you I completely with Neil from the Clover, it must be a nightmare moving bikes out of harms way. Having said that, where are the parents when this is happening!

like run a pub ,make money
must be hard ,anyway step back a bit and enjoy the sun and let others do a bit for condado like sell icecream
never mind if someone falls over a bike i am sure you can tell the courts it was the bulgarians fault

Also, Clover sold ice cream on Al Kasar before anyone else...they stopped for a while but as everyone is now selling ice cream, why shouldnt they? Kids bikes and scooters are dumped outside all establishments, surely its the parents who are responsible????
It really isnt worth the effort to slag each other off, life is far too short....lets just enjoy it!!!! This message was last edited by 2littletinkers on 13/04/2013.

Barri Great response as normal changed the argument to something else and stick the boot in. Yes we run a business and one of the reasons is to make money but remember we invested our money On the resort when no one else would. I am sorry that you felt like having your dig about us selling ice cream. So the ice cream parlour can stop being an ice cream parlour for six months and be a bar. La cata. Can expand to become a bar as well. The Bulgarian can have pool tables and offer a bar service but the clover must not do anything at all because !!!! WHY? All the businesses can do what they want to better themselves and that is right but it must be the same for all. Can we now end this pickiness and if anyone wants to discuss further I am here all the time and willing to chat. Neil

Hi all, I do not want my original suggestion turned into something it wasn't meant for. I can see a need for somewhere for by cycles to be put, and especially outside of the most popular clover, for safety ( as it can be quite dark outside and with obstacles could be a hazard) and for tidiness. That's was all. Neil2610

didn't they have a rack by the supermarket at one point, I know its not there now, I think that the main problem, especially in the summer is kids riding around Al Kasar, accident waiting to happen, not sure how this can be sorted, security are keen around the gardens perhaps need to check this.

We could try some machine gun turrets on top of the towers of Al Kasar 🙊 Perhaps a fund raising event.... 3 shots for 10 euros then prizes of 20 euros for hitting above shoulder height or 5 for any other part of the body. Then 50 euros for tyre blow out & making them crash in water feature 🙊 SD 😎
