Sports Direct Deliveries

Does anyone know how delivery from Sports Direct works?

Do they leave a note and you collect from Alhama?

We got bikes delivered at Easter.

They delivered direct to the house (although they did ask me to meet the DHL driver at Al Kasar).

As it turned out there were another 4 people getting deliveries from Sports Direct that same night.

They only down side was DHL. The bikes got a far as the local depot but it took several phone calls over 48 hours to get them to deliver to Condado. I dont know if this is the norm or we were just unlucky.

overall though worth doing as it saved us money and the hassle of trying to get 5 bikes in the back of the hire car :-)

Dont forget Amazon deliver too, so long as more expensive than £25 and when, you search for bikes...you specify on bottom left to look at Amazon.co.uk suppliers only.....if supplied and sold by Amazon.co.uk then delivery is free!!....worth comparing the 2 sites!! They have over 700 mountain bikes that they will deliver to Spain free!!!!

 Delivery times vary depending on if the item can be shipped from one of their europen warehouses.  I've had many items delivered from Amazon uk, yes i am a shopoholic, usually they take about a week but I have had some that were delivered the following morning.   Make sure that the item you are after is sold or forefilled by Amazon direct and that you can get "Supersaver" delivery then you will get free postage :-)
