I am led to believe from the meeting minutes that these have now been locked by the water company, but can be opened when required for meter readings.
My concern is that I know my stoptap in the kitchen wall doesn't work & I believe from talking to others that I am not on my own.
In the event of a leak how long would it take to get a key? (Should I buy in a pair of bolt croppers)
I guess getting the stop tap fixed is a better option, does anyone offer this service and how much would it cost to replace it?
Even with the stop tap repaired I would like to turn the water off at the meter when not on site as we are responsible for any leaks from that point, not just after the stop tap.
Appreciate anyones views.
