I didn't see anything last Friday when I was last there - but it is probably due to arrive and open soon.

Fair up and running last night and also market stalls set up alongside Consum

There are also lots of new outlets in Mercadona Square behind the little flower hut and Rio Nalon was extremely lively last night

Must have new staff in the Ayuntamiento !

Yes I noticed lots of new names down at the plaza last week. Mostly bars though I think.

Did you also notice that sign no longer says Balneario Plaza.

It's now 525 Plaza

It suprises me not.The whole "plaza" is owned by the 525. I live here permanently and each week there is a change for the better.I wouldnt say it was all bars .More like very good restaurants for holiday makers.

Lets hope they sort out the tenders for the Civico in Roda village  soonand open up that restaurant again and put on some decent events like an openair dance.Not all of us want to go to the golf club.

I LOVE the Civico at Roda Village.

We always go there in the evening for a pre-prandial wine and tapas when we are there!

We refuse to use the Club House any more. Too pricey, staff ignore you if you aren't a "favourite", and the food is not as good as it used to be.

I know this isn`t about the fair ground but, can you tell us what the "tenders for the civico" means please? When you say you visit the civico, is that the community building to the left of Campbells?

Yes Roda community centre is on the other side of the road to Campbells.Cheap drinks and very pleasant just to sit outside in the early evening.

Unfortunately it has been shut for some weeks now .The people that ran it have gone and quite a few people have applied to take over. It has got to be up and running before the Roda festival at the end of August -I would have thought.
