Murcia Supermarkets

Hi,

are the supermarkets open on sundays? We are passing the shopping center by the football stadium and will stop to stock up if they are open!

None of the supermarkets are open even Consum at Camposol is closed on a Sunday. Our supermarket on site is open until 2pm

Most supermarkets in holiday areas are open on Sundays during high seaon (July to end of August) but usually close earlier.

The Eroski at Nueva Condomina has closed down but there is an Alcampo on the other side of the motorway at the Thader centre.  If coming from Alicante airport come off motorway as if going to Nueva Condomina and follow the road until you see the left turn at a  roundabout  signposted "Thader ".

Not sure if Alcampo is open Sundys and website not very clear re opening hours. Maybe someone else can help re this.

I think Consum at Camposol is open until either 3 or 4 if this helps.

I think most supermarkets are closed on Sundays in Murcia, along with most shopping centres.

However Dos Mares in San Javier is the exception to the rule, I think is open 364 days per year and has a large supermarket.

Think the one in Puerto de Mazarron on the roundabout by the underground car park is open - saw it was when over in April when I wnet the market on Sunday
