Also rumoured is that the course is in very poor condtion.!st hand account would be useful.

This has already been widely reported by a local newspaper after a soceity played the course so I am not giving away any secrets and is based on feedback from players, who tell me, that generally the greens are in good  condition but the fairways and rough in poor condition due to the lack of watering

There are areas dying and going black but the course still seems to be good value as there are plenty of people playing

The club house is still open for food and drinks

I played the course 4 times over the summer as the green fees were discounted due to the poor course condition.  It's clear that they have run out of sufficient funds to water the fairways but the greens were in good nick.  If you play preferred lie then you can enjoy the course with some monster drives as the underlying dryness creates a decent bounce!

The only downside of my experience was the somewhat surley golf shop service by the female English member of staff.  The Spanish employee could not have been more helpful and pleasant.

If you are a regular / serious golfer the price difference is probably not enough to tempt you to play there instead of Roda.

condition - so so but value for money.

Played the course 2 weeks ago and the faiways were very brown and dry.

However, played again today and the fairways were much greener as they have had an intense watering programme since then. If they carry on at that rate they should be quite reasonable in a couple of weeks time. The greens are OK.
