New Resident

I am thinking od buying a property in your community and wondered if anyone could give me the pluses and minuses. I am a 67 year old lady that lives on her own and was wondering How many uk people live there permanent and is it a good place to meet new friends

Like any community there are those who see the glass as half full and others determined to see it as half empty. Much depends upon what you are looking for. Maybe come over for a few weeks at a time - plenty of properties to rent - in both winter and summer and get a good sense of what is here and is it for you.

A rather ambiguous answer to a question with far reaching consequences but it was the outlook we had when in your position.
