Hi all,
Finally it seems we are getting there. Our own apartment in Roda!
Well, hopefully we have the keys in a couple of weeks and it´s time to look for furniture and white goods.
The apartment is empty so we pretty much need everything.
Any suggestions where we should look?

Hi Charlotte and Lars, really glad you've found something! Conforama at La Zenia is good and reasonable. Leroy Merlin also have a promotions page on their website with massive discounts so you might get lucky on some items. We have some items for sale as bought a package after already getting some items, mirrors, headboards things like that, let me know if you are interested.

Shop around and do focus on Spanish suppliers as we saved a lot of money using Spanish shops and stores. Do NOT buy white goods from the larger multiples as they do not provide free delivery nor are they any help if you have a problem as you will have to bring the item back to the store - fine if it is a hair dryer but a washing machine is a different story. PM me for information on our Spanish suppliers who all delivered free of charge.

The electrical shop next to Mercadona in the Balneario Plaza often have some good deals and they will deliver to Roda. Don't think they do it FoC though but it was only about €25.
I know you're not interested in this, but they took our broken washing maching away with them!

And for furniture there's alwasy the dreaded Ikea at Murcia !!!!
You'll get everything under one roof including your plates, glasses, pans and knives and forks.
