Picking the Right Location

Hello All

I'm new to all this so apologies if some of this has been asked before. We are finally in a position to purchase a property and would appreciate any advice anyone could give me regarding purchasing in La Torre. Could you recommend a location in the resort, (I read on the forum about problems in certain blocks but is that just common for all new areas), Are bank repos a good buy or are resales the way to go, Hoping to come over in October for a look so any advice regarding the above and also regarding the buying process would be appreciated.

What sort of property are you looking at buying, apt, townhouse, or villa ?

Open to anything really. 2/3 bed Apt Townhouse or Villa

OK, Apts in the town centre can be bad news in the summer, with the bars music people hanging about and being sick etc, some apts on the later phases dont have golf views, to me it does not matter where your property is pros & cons.  i had a villa which i loved the thing about a villa there is nobody above you with high heeled shoes waking you up at 3am in the morning.you can do jobs on a villa without answering to next door. find out how much commuity fees are on each property type,make sure your property has now outstanding commuity fees on it, it could be 1000s, bank repos could have proplems the owner might have done thing to it, things might be missing, if you see a property thats not a repo and its the same price, go for the non repo. any day
