 does anybody know where we stand regarding aifos s breach ,
 of contract  on the completion date?.
 should we be entitled to some form of compensation.
 when i rang aifos to find out why work is delayed ,they told me,
they had submitted plans to add another floor to the developement;
 it turns out the real truth is that they have broken planning regulations,
 they have gone one metre too high.
  i ve had 4 years of worry im sick to death of aifos ,i wish i never
bought property from this bunch of sharks ,
i just been told one of their directers is being investigated for fraud,
 at a place in mijas he has been selling properties on a big scale on
 land that cant be built on.let s hope things get better.

According to our Contract we have got a "bank guarantee"  that allows you to get your deposit back plus 6% - in theory.  When you signed your contact did you have a "Bank Guarantee"?

I have a copy of the Building Licence that was issued (it is with my solicitor in Spain).  I am going to send my solicitior an e mail and I will also ring her office on Monday . 

I will come back to you when I have some more information.

I am also in the process of finding out how we get our money back (as we have a bank guarantee) with interest.  I do not think that we will get the interest back but am more concerned that we do not lose the deposit monies.

HI,I HAVE JUST CAME BACK FROM THERE 3 WEEKS AGO AND NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE ON OUR BLOCKS,WE WENT TO SEE OUR SOLICITOR AND RECEIVED AN E MAIL FROM HIM ON FRIDAY ,I HAVE PASTED A PART OF IT FOR EVERYONE TO READ,I WILL GLADLY SUPPORT ANY GROUP TO TAKE ACTION,FOLLOWING THIS LETTER FROM MY SOLICITOR I AM NO WISER AND NO LESS WORRIED

The current problem lies on an excess of building that according to the present Partial Plan of Management it is not allow, but according to the new Plan, partially approved and pending of definitive approval, that excess will be permitted.

  as they understand that during the period of June/July (once the local elections goes by) everything will be sort out.
