Prospective Purchase !!

HI Everyone

We are looking at purchasing a ground floor apt on the resort and wondered if anyone could assist us with some info and questions...

1)  Whats are the community fees? and does this include WiFi ?

2) What is the cost of council tax?

3) Is there a compulsory property insurance?

Community fees depend on size of apartment. In our block they were between €1,396.72 and €1,700.66 per annum last year.

Wifi is not included and can be purchased from A2z telecom. I opted for the 4MB annual contract @ €18 per month. There is a fee of €100 for provision of the cable modem / wireless router and connection. The best package will depend on how frequently you use the apartment. Full packages can be seen here: 

Buildings insurance is paid out of the community fees. Contents insurance is not compulsory, but can be purchased for less than €100 per annum.

I haven't paid Council Tax yet, but I was informed by my solicitor that it would be between €200 and €300 per annum.

Further to Duncan's information, my ( ground floor phase 2) council tax (IBI) was just over €400 for the year. There is also income tax (payable even if you dont have any) which for me was €170 for 2014
