Parcel deliveries

Hi

Has anyone had any success with having parcels delivered on to the complex from the likes of Amazon etc. If so did they come to your apartment or security?

Postal services are not the same as the UK.  If Corros, they cannot post the package into the post box by the supermarket they will leave a slip advising you a parcel can be collected at the post office in Roldan, this is only open 1/2 hour a day normally.

Security do not normally accept parcel deliveries.  If delivered via SEUR which Amazone use they may deliver to apartment block but need to check with Amazone first.  UPS etc deliveries will come to the apartment.  In all cases if you are not in then its unusual for a 2nd attempt to be made.  Also its very hard to pin down a day though a time.

I have  sucessfully collected a couple of Amazon deliveries from the post office in Roldan but you do need your passport and the advice slip which should be put in your letter box on terrazas. if the postman puts your advice slip in the wrong letter box it is very difficult to get your parcel

I have had 2 parcels sent from Europe by DHL in the last year but when they reached Spain they were then dealt with by Correos.

The first time I told security on the gate that I was expecting a parcel and that if I was not in would they hold it for me which they did.

The second parcel I told security the same but I was in so Correos delivered it direct to my door.

Both parcels took 2-3 days.

I had an Amzon parcel successfully delivered to my door last summer. I just let Resortalia know (by email) that it was expected and had no problem at all.
