My wife and I are in the process of packing our belongings in anticipation of moving, where today I dismantled my Office desk as well as my computer, etc. I'll do my wife's tomorrow. I basically backed-up all our records and files, transferring them to our laptop - I'm sure it groaned. This reminded me that many users can feel baffled and frustrated when it comes to Personal Computers, etc, and their idiosyncracies. I build, program/upgrade our own - have done for many years. I'm prepared to help any who have problems once I'm established in SG. I think I have a complete Motherboard somewhere that can handle Windows 7, should anyone's PC die on them.
A word of advice... do not discard your computer if it does die, or even if you're finished with it. The Hard-Disk-Drive (HDD) still holds all your personal details. I could tell you some horror stories!
