Hi

Anyone know what the electricty standing charge should be our bill (although supply switched off when we leave) fluctuates monthly 64 euros, 51 euros,and this month 38 euros have been on there website can't make head or tails of it

Have a look at your bill it will tell you how many  days the bill is for , also with standing charges, rental of machine iva added etc before usage sometimes it could work  out more then electric used

Register online then you can manage your account easily, if you use your apartment occasionally then you you can change your  tariff to "holiday home"  which reduces the service charge. 👍

All depends on your tarrif and the billing period.

Best tarrif will depend on how frequently you are out and how much electricity you use.

We use the Connect@ Electrity Holidays plan. This gives you a lower fixed cost and discount on the fixed costs. No discounts on electricity used. This works for us as we are only out 5-6 weeks per annum.

We get our bills every two months and the total bill is normally around 60-70 euros or 30-35 euros per month.

Actual consumption makes little difference as the majority is supply charge and fixed costs.

Remember to opt out of the electrical goods insurance. This adds 5 euros a month to your bill.
