What made you move to where u live ?

HI all,

I am one of many buying on phase 2 after reading today`s sunday paper the fear crept in! like most we are not sure when we will complete and are unsure what a study mortgage is?If any of you fellow members are aware of any of the above i would really apprecaite hearing from you.

Hi, we are also buying on phase 2 M1 - 17, never heard of a study mortgage, also haven't read the Sunday papers what was in them, can anyone tell me what the article you refer to was about, thanks Celia

Hi cilia, the paper in question was all about our bad palmera properties is .(sunday people) I must say iam surprised your not aware of the study mortgage as this is apperantly the mortgage offer that the builder is trying to get for us all , according to the completions dept.You might find it in your own interest to contact them and see if you get the same reply ? or are they just buying more time. Would be interested to no keep us updated happysole .x

Hi,  my husband Steve is sorting the mortgage side out.  He's away at the moment, I know he has made enquiries with different lenders re a mortgage as he wants to get an alternative mortgage offer in place so that he can compare it with the one the builder will be offering, but as far as I am aware he has not filled an application in yet, as we don't expect our property to be completed until nearer to the end of the year. This will be our third property we have bought over the past few years and we hav e never heard of a study mortgage. I work for a building society so when I am next in work on Thursday I will make enquiries to see if anybody there has heard of one. It's a new one on me. Will keep you posted and if you hear anything let us know, cheers Celia

I have been asking around what a 'study mortgage' is, and no one has heard of them.  Even the broker we are hoping to get our mortgage through has never heard of them, sorry can't help further. cheers Celia
