Hello there, is there anyone out there who has also purchased on this development? Interested to know how you found the purchase process and how things have gone so far.

Hi

My name is Phill I have purchased a property in M4. I was out in spain about three weeks ago and they have started the bulk excavation for the roads but nothing else... although main drainage pipes were also on site.

Being a qualified civil engineer myself I did think that what they are doing was well organised although the method of doing it not the most cost effective... using 8 wheeler wagons to move spoil rather than a big moxy which can carry about 4 times the volume of spoil and costs about the same!

Progress looks a little behind to me (suprise suprise) and I am a little dissapointed that the main website doesnt show a construsction programme and progress reports.

I will go back out in April to have another look.. if anyone goes before then PLEASE PLEASE email me phil@travel5.freeserve.co.uk. with a progress report.

My buying experience was spot on the the setting of these properties is great.. not entirely sure about Sangomera de Verdi. (closest town). bit of a dump!!! The resurant at the west side appears to have closed down but this may be a seasonal thing.. The development needs some good resturants, bars and the like to save driving around does anyone know what happening does the complex include shops etc?

The claim that this is 40min from Alicante Airport is true if your name is Schumacher but i find it takes about 1hr 10min... flying into Murcia is the way to go I think..

Regards

Phil (yorkshire) England

Hello my name is alvaro from Spain and i have bought a property their. On the first phase, M1. I think the spot is ideal and there is nothing else like that in all the area. I know Sangonera is a bit untidy but just because they are making a bypass to avoid all the traffic through the main street. With the new bypass and the new shopping centre being built between sangonera and alcantarilla, more than 7.000 sqm of shops and cinemas is going to be one of the areas with more progresion. I am thinking in selling my property which is going to be finished by may-june 2008, is in the M1 with 295 sqm of land. I am thinking in doing it privatly without adding any commision. What do you think? Any ideas? My property is a link detached but i dont have a lot of experience in this business.

Dear All

Was in Frondoso Valley on the weekend.  Infrastructure works seem to be prgressing, concrete drainage points being put in and the road layout generally taking shape (albeit compacted soil only).  Road from show house to the parking at Parque Majal Blanco now closed to allow the works to progress.  (But still accessible via Nuevo Torrre Guil).  Many cars were parked up there, it seems quite popular with walkers and bikers (the highest peak is a 3 hour hike from the car park).  The brown wooden shed in the car park was also maned and provided information on all the trails in the Sierra de Carriscoy.

Spoke with the staff in the showhouse and they indicated that the building works for the first phase were due to start in Marzo. However M4-1 where we have bought was being suggested for completion in Novembre.............Dos mil y ocho. (contract signed for completion in December 2007).

The entrance arch to the development has been taken down, it did seem a bit low before, and it had already been struck by a lorry.

Photos of the roads etc will be posted soon.

Sangonera la Verde was a hive of activity on the Saturday - it seems that this is market day.  Murcia as always was delightfull, it seems that they are debating putting in a tram system in Murcia, initially this will go from the centre and head north.  Visited the Monastario de Fuensanta, (near La Alberca) which has great views of Murcia and the Balneario at Archena which is great for a relaxing day out.

Well thats my bit for now, I am not due back in the area until Agosto, so if any of you are planning to go before then please update the site here with any usefull morcels for us .

Hasta luego.

Stephen

Hi Shephen,

My wife and I purchased an apartment in June 2005. I think we bought the last but one apartment. We have had up dates as to when the apartment will be completed and December 2007 is the estimated completion date. We bought as an investment. At the time we were going to setup  as UK agents for Medsea. We were shown around various developments and thought Frondoso Valley worth an investment.

We bought and lived in Spain for two years back in 1983-85. I love Spain and its people. Would retire one day but we have family and grandchildren now and my wife wouldnt leave them.

We go back to Calpe for holidays which is near to Moraira  where we lived and worked. Could not afford to buy in this area now.

We hope to visit sometime this year and will take photos. Will update with any new info and look forward to any new info you all may have.

Regards

AlanC

Hello All

Has anybody been to visit recently?  Did M1 start in March as they advised? Does anybody know anything about the new solar panel law that was introduced in Spain that requires all new build to have solar panels.  Will this apply retrospectively or only to new planned developments?

Many questions, anyone up for a chat?

Regards

Stephen

Hi, My husband and I went out on a viewing trip to frondoso valley in March 2005, before there was even a sales office! We fell in love with the area and purchased a house in m4. We were over there last week and still not much to see, to be honest I couldnt see any change since we were there in Dec.  We went up to the parking / picnic area at the top and there was lots of people about. When we were there the show house wasnt open so we didnt get to speak to anyone unfortunately. Kelly

Progress at Frondoso Valley

I was over at Frondoso in the first week of August.  We have progress.  Builders are now on site and houses are being erected on all phases, although at various stages of build i.e. excavations, foundations and structures.

Will post photos on web site soon. It was very hot at Frondoso with the car themometer recording 41 degrees!

Regards

Stephen

My partner and I have purchased a townhouse and we are extremely pleased with the quality of the interior. We liked spain so much that we purchased a villa in the Moraira area of North Costa Blanca area, which unfortunately, we feel is too far from the Murcia area to be viable and we would like to re-invest any money from the sale into our villa. Might use this site to promote its sale, so if anyone has missed out then this is a good opportunity to catch up! It's a pity as Frondoso is a first class location, but then we truly love our villa too. Colin
