Hi all, We are thinking of putting a cabinet up on the bathroom wall, but after hearing about the horror story of the person who put a longer screw in the curtain rail and when through a water pipe; I need to be sure that where I am drilling doesn’t contain pipes or mains cables. The place we have in mind for the cabinet is on the party wall next to the bidet. Now comes the problem. Mains electric cables & copper water pipes can be detected quite easily by using a standard cable/ pipe detector but plastic water pipes cannot be detected. Does anyone know the plan of the plastic water pipework in the bathroom or have photos of the pipe layout or know if drawings exist and if they can be obtained.
