CAR RENTAL

I have just seen a TV programme in the UK about this development.  Although the building has not yet started the idea of the eco friendly nature of the site sounded very interesting.  My concern is that there are a lot of extras included in the price such as pools, landscaping and all lights and white goods.  Sounds too good to be true.  Has anyone purchased off plan or has any details I would be glad to hear from you.

I've had quite a bit of contact with this company over the last few months. 

From what I can gather, Las Torrentas came about when the company owners (already property developers in the UK) were looking for holiday home in Spain.  They got so sick of all the sub standard properties and huge builds, that they decided to put something special together with no catches, is good quality, or the usual extra costs that you normally find while buying in Spain.  According to the brochure I received, the development is in protected area too, so won't end up in the middle of a concrete jungle.

I'm seriously considering buying out there.

I have just returned from a trip to Spain.  Whilst there I made enquiries with a local agent in the area who knew of the proposed development.  I was advised that the reason the development had not started was because it is on protected land and so no licences have been granted.  It was his impression that the development was unlikely to go ahead.  Disappointing as it looked very interesting.

Has anyone bought yet.  We have just been given the details by Landmark properties. They state they only deal with builders that have full planning permission but according to threads on this site liciences haven't been issued.

A visit is planned for January so would like info and don't make a wasted trip.
