Washing Machine 4 Sale

Hi all

I have an opportunity to purchase a 2 bed Colinas home in the resort and would appreciate any advice.  Some questions below.

Is the development finished now?

Is it a popular rental resort?

What is the average rental per week/month?

What is the market value for these villas now?

Has anyone noticed a high volume of new holiday makers renting the villas?

Any advice on these or anything else would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ollie - I live on BDL111. I am in the street with the only working pool. We have had lots of problems with the builders. Basically they have gone and left the urbanisation unfinished like nearly everything else they have built. We are still on builders water and electric and many of us dont have our deeds yet! On the posative side all the 2 bedroom Colinas have been sold unlike the 3 bedroom, villas and flats. It's in a very central position for bars and restaurants - only a few minutes walk. Ten minutes drive from the beach and San Miguel. I like it here and some nice people own property here. Pricewise I dont think the prices have gone up. Rentwise, if you have friends and family it's perfectly acceptable. There are 3 streets. I wouldn't personally buy on the street with the Chinese on the corner but you would have to see for yourself. we are in the process of forming a community - well at least an Administrator so I guess eventually everything will get sorted out. I live on the road with the two pools and have heard that the electric is to be switched off.  Is this correct?

The electric is being sorted out. The Chinese and the first road were off for about 10 days but we are all back on and you should have received information from the comittee or administrator. Basically we have started paying electric. There is an extraordinary meeting on 4th June but you should know this by now as the administrator sent out an email this morning.
