Will they ever update these photos again?

We have not been able to get back out there for some months and the photos have been our main means of keeping upto date.

Perhaps we should start our own library on this forum.

Managed a couple of in-out trips recently and have to say its all looking pretty good. Took a couple of snaps on my phone each visit and if I'm honest they all look fairly similar. That's probably the reason there are no new pics posted - they'd look like the old ones! The most visible change last trip was the amount of decorative planting going on around the roads and course.

I'd certainly recommend a short visit soon as much of the building work is nearing completion. Not only will it satisfy your curiosity but more importantly it helped me pick up on a couple of things I would like to alter but would be difficult to do anything about later.

Good to here the place is taking shape.  We haven't been out since March so have been relying on pics from Peraleja.  They have updated our villa but the others have been on there for months!  Do you think it will be finished in December?

Would be interested what changes you have been able to make, were they inside or out?

Look forward to meeting all of you.

All the the signs seem to be that they will deliver on time  (A rarity in Spain I'm told).

The alterations are things that are quite specific to the style of property we've bought - a minera. Although it has 4 bedrooms, the living space is quite small and as it was one of the properties without a show home, it's only now that some things are showing up.

I've asked for the cooking island which separates the kitchen area from the living room to be free standing instead of fixed enabling us to remove it if we have a lot of guests. If I'd requested the change after completion it would have been more complicated as there would have been power fed through the floor to it.  Also the patio area leading to the pool is narrower than it appears on the plans. Too narrow in fact for sun loungers or garden furniture so I've asked for it to be extended right up to the pool. easy to do at the moment as they are just laying the concrete foundation for the patio.

The response from Peraleja to these and other requests was generally better received face to face rather than by email as they tend to send out standard responses that sound rather terse in tone (probably down to translation). Their main concern is that any alterations don't have an effect on the overall design of the development which I suppose is to all our benefits.
