All the the signs seem to be that they will deliver on time (A rarity in Spain I'm told).
The alterations are things that are quite specific to the style of property we've bought - a minera. Although it has 4 bedrooms, the living space is quite small and as it was one of the properties without a show home, it's only now that some things are showing up.
I've asked for the cooking island which separates the kitchen area from the living room to be free standing instead of fixed enabling us to remove it if we have a lot of guests. If I'd requested the change after completion it would have been more complicated as there would have been power fed through the floor to it. Also the patio area leading to the pool is narrower than it appears on the plans. Too narrow in fact for sun loungers or garden furniture so I've asked for it to be extended right up to the pool. easy to do at the moment as they are just laying the concrete foundation for the patio.
The response from Peraleja to these and other requests was generally better received face to face rather than by email as they tend to send out standard responses that sound rather terse in tone (probably down to translation). Their main concern is that any alterations don't have an effect on the overall design of the development which I suppose is to all our benefits.
