dear all, i am a new member of the iznalloz buyers. Would you mind telling me if you all put down your reserve money plus your downpayment. Because i gave mine to the solicitor in april, this amounted to about £20 grand. He is holding the money until this plan or whatever comes through. But what i am annoyed at is that money could be in MY bank account earning interest. Your thoughts would be much appreciated on this. Can you also let me know what stage we are at now with all this.

Hi Jules,

I am waiting for the Building Licence to come through before I pay my 30% deposit, I have just paid out the reservation fee. If I were you I would ask why the solicitor is holding your money? As you state you are missing out on some interest that your solicitor has been recieving since April!  Anyway the Building Licence should come through by the end of this month by all accounts (although we have been told this for many months now!) Fingers crossed!!
