Well, I beg to differ on that one.
Why did you need to make derogatory remarks about me to an old post on the Los Lagos forum only 3 /4 days ago. Why, every time that I post on SPI do you have to post inferring that I do not have updated knowledge about the situation at Green Hills or Los Lagos? Why did you have to tell outright lies about me and make salacious comments about myself and Charlie on threads on the general forum here? I have used these two forums for three years and whilst there my be strong debate and cross words between forum users NEVER have I seen the type of personal attack that you have made on me.
Whilst you may think the problems surrounding Green Hills are "history" they are still a reality and a living nightmare for many. Whilst YOU may be happy to have completed on your apartment there are many that cannot afford to complete on an illegal development. Until such time as an LFO is granted that is how it is. These people are not "gamblers". They just wanted a place to enjoy holidays/retirement. They expected to wait only two years, not 4/5/6 years. Many of these people are elderly and do not have years of income ahead of them to fall back on.
The Judges must feel they have a good case for their money back as so many are now being awarded money + interest when they take their claim to Court. Last night one guy who contacted me two years ago wrote to say he has been awarded his claim for a refund + interest. He and his wife have been through hell & back over this fiasco.
I can understand how you are feeling, and I am not being patronising.! You have completed on a property where, out of 196 apartments only 27 have completed (or there abouts). You are surrounded by empty buildings. Whatever you may think...it's not MY fault they are empty! The maintenance of the grounds/pools is dependent on the developers, which is fine all the time they can afford it. The bottom line though is your investment is stagnant at best until all of the apartments are sold. I would imagine that if/when an LFO is given, there will be some bargains to be had there just to shift them!! As you've said though, you are very happy with your place and that is what counts in life. That's not the case for the majority.
You went onto the SPI forum and tried to belittle Charlie and I, because we have a history of success against the Spanish system. When we first started out on what turned out to be a "mission" to get our money back, there was no knowledge of the massive corruption scandal that existed. If we, in some tiny way, helped to bring this out into the open, then that is a victory to be proud of. You , for reasons best known to yourself, put yourself between us and Eralia. Slating us achieved absolutely nothing. The cases won against Eralia are not down to us. They are down to the justice in the Judicial system in the Spanish Courts. You are venting on easy targets.
How would you have felt if you had been in our position and Eralia refused to give you your money back immediately they knew they were not going to build our apartment? To this day they have never written one word of explanation or apology. Why should we have had to wait another 19 months for our money from the time we were told of the situation.? It prevented us from buying elsewhere, whilst prices were rising rapidly. £100,000 is a lot of money to be tied up for three years achieving nothing, in anyone's book. Eralia had £6,000,000 in deposits of other peoples money!!!!!!!!! They reneged on their side of the contract. I feel about Grupo Eralia how you perhaps feel about La Reserva. You are fortunate to be able to afford to buy more than one property.
Whilst I may have my name on the forum, my husband has been equally involved in our case. After all it was his hard earned money we stood to loose. Your remarks have been taken on board by him too. I hope now you will now stop this campaign of hate against us.
