The grass around the pool area has been rotivated and removed and new turf has been laid. Sprinklers have also been added to the grounds and ,apparently, there were none prior to this.   All the old plants have been removed and replaced with new ones.  The small pool has been drained, cleaned and is now being refilled.  The large pool is in the process of being cleaned.  Most of the lights around the complex are now working.  The garage door to the houses on the right as you drive in from the grape-drying plot has been fixed and the sewer covers in the garage have been replaced with metal covers (it has not stopped the smell though).  The pathways that had been raised and cracked by the heat have been re-cemented and all the paths have been washed down.

As yet, I'm not aware that anything has been done to make the urbanisation private, nor has an audit of each house taken place.  I have no news about the licences for the the two sides of the urbanisation which are still unoccupied for that reason.  However, strangely enough, 2 families have moved in to the 2 houses behind the show-house,  which are in the block with no licence of habitation, yet they have power and water!!!

The kiddies pool has been drained again and it looks like they are doing something to try and stop the leak.  The pool had been made very muddy due to the heavy storms, we had just recently suffered, which washed the topsoil from off the surrounding grounds.  I wonder if this is going to be a problem every time it rains heavily.  On the day they drained  the pool the process was watched by Enrique and Pablo (developers), Francisco (site foreman) and the community President.

I'm told that there is still a problem with Telefonica and the connection of a phone.  Can anyone shed any more light on this and/or tell me how we can get a phoneline as we are desperate to have contact with friends and relatives by means other than a mobile phone?
