Manilva Beach

Hi

I am an unhappy purchaser on the estepona beach and coutry club development with ocen view so please forgive me for butting in on your forum but just watching the debate about rentals and just wondered who if anyone new about this other company (a part of ovp travel). Not that you can book a holiday at manilva but you can buy an overseas property and get another turn key investment (!)

That is interesting. I have never seen that site before.

If you select 11 (Manilva) on the map, there are 2 pictures of inside a MB apartment and also the general view of the pools. However, Manilva is not selectable for bookings.

One thing with OVP, is if you let your place out with OVP travel,  they take 17% comission. If it is rented out via a partner i.e. Expedia, they take 30%. I wonder if they would claim this site is a partner, in order to take 30% comission ? I notice it still has Longdon Hall as its address.

Id have thought it would be better to get the current house in order before setting up another company!

Looks like it has just been created in Aug 2007.

It begs the question how Alan Smith, the footballer claims "Whenever we go to the Costa Del Sol we always use Holidaysin360...", when it has only been launched less than a month ago.

When I was over in August, I went to the Duquesa OVP Travel shop, and noticed the large exterior sign was on the floor inside the shop, and all the branding had been removed.

Just looking on the holidaysin360 web site, I notice that their other address is the shop in Duquesa, so I am guessing there may be a re-branding exercise going on here.

...and whats more the company that is selling overseas properties on the same site (zenith) is claimimg to have been selling to investors for the past few years but according co companies house the company was only formed this year! somehing fishy and youre quite right Nigie it would make sense for ocean view to re brand beacuse

a. of the lousy name they are getting

b. make more money from rentals (Good point about the commissions)

and who is adam sargent?

Just found this - a picture of him pressenting an award to a player and it clearly states that adam sargent from ocean view?

what a tangled web

This guy is an I.F.A and was the main one getting other I.F.As in the U.K to sell O.V.P investments to their unsuspecting clients.

This guy made a small fortune selling on the back that he was an I.V.A and this was a sure winning investment and promoted the fact that he was regulated as an I.F.A he would have to answer to them if it were not.

Had or has alot of influence and would not be suprised if he wasnt closer linked than being a franchise as I can assure you whatt he said carried to much weight for that.
