LFO Clause

As Roda no longer seem to offer TV packages to include British TV etc., I wondered if anyone could advise us where to find a good package and if they are easy to install. We have bought in Phase 2.

Dont we have some channels ? Britich one also?

We have the basic package, taken out in 2007, that includes BBC 1 & 2  ITV 1 & 4 plus sky news,  the other stations are a mixture of German , Spanish and  one French.....   The English speaking stations  were not working when we first tried to view them,  After sales fixed the problem  fairly quickly.   The fault was with the delivery system not the the  TV.

We got the package from Roda in July.  It includes all British cable channels, BBC / ITV C4 C5 etc including Sky sports 1,2 & 3 from Roda.  For sports viewers they also broadcast the Premiership matches shown on Setanta.  The company who fitted it have English personnel and receptionists etc.  They informed me that they installed the cable system at Roda, so if anything goes wrong they will be able to fix it.  I just went to the sales office and they contacted them.

I'm sure Roda should still have contact details for them.

Is the Sports package something you can dip in and out of. I don't fancy paying for the whole year when a lot of the time the apartment will be empty??

The whole package is 19 euros per month, it's not like Sky in the UK where you can choose a particular package.

Just to change the thread a little by asking a question has anyone using the basic  BBC1, 2 ITV1 & 2, Euro Sport and Sky News channels experienced difficulty using a DVD recorder on the ITV channels only.   I have a security lockout which prevents me from recording.  My machine was recently purchased in Spain.

I have noticed also that this fault is not always present........  intermittent is the best way to describe it, one day Ok and then another day not.

Any input on this matter would be helpful by either a private message or on this forum to help others in the same situation.
