RE plating a car

Hi All

I have just uploaded new photos of the central green area. They have planted lots of trees & put in several benches. The children's play are is also there. The site is starting to look really good.

We have taken photos of the rest of the site - the new apartment block which has it's own swimming pool. Will try & upload some more tomorrow.

What  and where is the new apartment block with its own pool? I don't think I know anything about that.

Its at the back of the site opposite Manzana 5 quads & next to the area where the main swimming pool, sports area etc will be.

I have a picture of the dug out pool (it's only small) which I will try & post this evening. I also too pictures of Manzana 5 Quads. They have planted palm trees in front as well which look really good.

Bet you can't wait until the 10th !!!!!!!

Is this the block that is different - not penthouses and bungalows?  I thought it was a water feature in a green area, rather than a swimming pool!

Yes, it is the apartment block that is different to the penthouse/bungalow blocks.

It is a swimming pool or Taray are selling it as such.(Quite small !) I have now uploaded the photo & also a photo near to the Manzana 5 quads where they have now planted palm trees. (Ignore the date on the photos they were actually taken last Sunday !!!!)

P.S. Seamas - if your swimming pool is finished before the main pool you'll have loads of mates !!!!!

Seamas, can I officially be your new best friend then?  We are buying a penthouse in block 6, which is the middle one on the same side of the site as the appartment block.  We look out over the agricultural land - Calle San Lorenzo.

Sue, I have looked at the photo and yes, it is a swimming pool, not a water feature!  Unfortunately, we have been unable to get over to Spain for a long time and I rely on this site to keep me going.  Such a pool is not on the original plans we have, or on the Taray.es website, as far as I can see.  It does look like there is/was a water feature planned by the appartment block thouogh.

I hope they don't cancel the plans for the 'municipal' pool on site.  There would be TROUBLE if that happened.

Maybe they have added a communal pool just for that block hoping to persuade people to buy in the current market

Ha so you laughed at my (exclusive to apartment owners) small pool and now you want to come over for a plunge! Maybe if you bring a couple of beers over.

D&J - i was on site mid Jan 08 and was impressed with the whole site. Sales told me the main pool and complex are due for completion this year and i know of no reason why this would not be the case. Is there a rumour it may not go ahead? I cant see that being so particularly as its a municipal facility and the whole local community will benefit from it.

Im not completing till Oct this year but I would think I could be ahead of that date.

I have just uploaded 3 more photos which are all of the Manzana 5 quads. There is one of the inner walkway were the properties have not been rendered, one on the far side & looking across at the proposed green area at the houses on the L shape if you understand what I mean. It is slightly confusing looking at them as if you haven't been on site recently, they are working from the far side in towards the middle so the outer quads are more advanced.

If you're not confused now, I am !!!!!!

Looking at your photos, it looks to me as if photo 2 is of the tree lined water feature I was expecting.  I'm glad it's still there and coming along nicely!

Come to think of it, I remember reading somewhere that a communal pool was planned for a later phase but I assumed that this referred to the pools on phase 2.  Lucky people in the appartment block!

Sorry to have mentioned anything about the 'municipal' pool.  As I say I have not been over to Spain for a very long time and have no official information whatsoever - just me being pessimistic.  Sorry if I have alarmed anyone!

I have just uploaded 4 photos of the new quad showhouse so anyone who has not been out recently can see a few of the changes.

Photo 1 shows the addition of the sliding door between the kitchen & the dining / lounge area.

The lounge is also wider. They have moved all the furniture from the old showhouse into here so if you have old photos it is easy to compare.

Picture 3 shows the new style window at the front of the house.

Picture 4 shows the new bigger bedroom with the balcony. It has a king size bed & the 2 cabinets in it. The other bedroom upstairs is the same size.

The floor tiles throughout are now beige.

Unfortnately I did not take a picture of the new kitchen style

P.S. Has anyone out there got an olympus camera with the olympus master software as I am really struggling with it.? (Wish I had bought another Pentax camera )Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dave & Sue, thanks for the photos.  We will be in one of the new quads on manzana 5 so its good to compare with our pictures of the old show house.  We will be out there end of March and hopefully we will be able to look in our actual house and see the differences (can't wait). 

Did the kitchen look any different  to the other property,  are the units the same etc.?
