Today, the OpenKor is being re-stocked and will re-open completely before this Easter weekend.  This, to my mind, is yet another indication that all will be returned to normal in due course, including the granting of licences to developments irregular to the original PGOU86 of which the OpenKor was presumably one.

I´m not.  I am stating the essential facts of current times and undoing the damage of the negatively biased, inaccurate postings and lies which have been allowed to stand on this forum unchallenged for many months.  Most of the messages of thanks and support that I receive are from investors who live thousands of miles away and whose picture of the state of affairs are painted largely by the postings on this forum.  Now that he pendulum is swinging the other way in terms of actual fact, it is clear that a number of the gossip-mongerers postings are as wholly wrong as I predicted they were many, many months ago.

I make no apology for my writing style, whatsoever.  Surely, in this open forum, the truth should be heard and the correction of all lies, generally posted by individuals with their own hidden agendas, be allowed.

 

Can someone please explain that as soon as someone tries to put forward positive news they are accused of upsetting other members of the forum.

Many of us have problems so why is it that  few that wish to object to anything that is positive always appear to have their way, as they say there is nothing like a bit of good news to cheer you up.

Many of the negative objections are from people that dont even own property in Spain and must have some other hidden agenda to direct threads to there own self interest are sadly are able to have their own way

Keep posting good news as it helps give a fair and balanced view and to those who dont like it then simply ignore it..

No doupt this posting will find an objection and be deleted.

We agree entirely.

A large number of people responded to our offer of photographs in our last thread some of whom told us that they hadn´t been able to get out to see the development for up to 14 months!!  Many owners reading negativity on forums must be in total despair at the situation if they don´t know any differently and are unable to fly over to see for themselves.  A lot has gone on in the last 14 months and we have all had a lot to overcome.  Now the development is delightfully enjoyable which should be allowed to be  reflected on this forum.  For too long has it been in the hands of the doom merchants.

We say ´keep up the good work kennye´!

My Wife and I are coming out to reside in our Penthouse on 25th April. We are realy looking forward to it, and hope to meet you all. We are very happy with everything so far, and have seen improvements each time we have been out to stay, We were suprised when OpenKor closed as there was no explanation on the door. We accepted the reason we were given on this forum, basicaly because we had no other explanation. So it stands to reason that a company the size of OpenKor would not open a second time, unless everything was in order. I fully agree with the sentiment that this forum is for discussion of all aspects of the "life and times" of LRdM and we who have purchased there. Lets continue to discuss in a friendly and adult manner for the benefit of us all. This doesn't mean we all have to agree, and where we disagree lets argue our point without resorting to anything that would hurt.

Justin, I think all non commercial posts should be allowed, and only removed if complaints are received from other forum members. If there is a need for the EOS team to edit or remove postings then that should not be done until after the forum has had chance to read them.

As I´ve said already by private message, thank you all for your supportive and positive posts.

Just to point out that I received a private message two days ago from Blackburn stating his intent to moan at the EOS team so as to ´have my posts edited again´.  It seems incredible that someone who has removed all his inaccurate posts and who hasn´t contributed to this forum for approximately 6 months, having previously tried single-handedly to damage the good name of the development and perhaps even property values as a result, has more say than the rest of us put together.  Maybe with that amount of political sway, we should credit him with the reopening of the ´illegal´ shop, who knows.

Anyway, one further point which I have assured GB of by returned private message is that I will continue to disprove all the negativity and lies posted and allowed to stand on this forum and, in the near future when all is legally resolved once and for all, I will stop.  And that´s a promise.

In the meantime, I will continue to present the facts of the situation as accurately as always, but please don´t take offence from my writing style as a lot of it is tongue-in-cheek.

John, we only edit posts if we receive complaints from other members which we did on this occassion.  We actually very rarely intervene in forum discussions.

I know there have been many anxious buyers on this development over all sorts of information posted on this and other websites.  I am of course more than happy for new and accurate information to be posted, there is no issue there.  What we have issues with is in the way that this is information is being made public as it includes derogatory comments about another member, and this is really not necessary.

I would appreciate it if any abusive and personal comments be kept private and as John says, post comments in a friendly and adult manner.

Hope you dont mind but in the short term I have been a member of any forum I have obseverved the following.

It is very clear that there are a few long term members that are very clever at manipulating variuos threads to such as extent that if you dare post anything that anyway constitutes  a positive comment you are classified as an agent/developer/a shark or worse.

The few then are very clever at rubbing ones back up so as to bring about a blunt responce.(they are masters trust me)

Once they have the blunt responce  then some other members? contact the editor to complain and then bang your history until someone else comes along and dares be positive .

What the motives are of a few is beyond me as I to have problems with property in Spain but how an earth can anyone look to consider all options when a balanced view is not allowed.

Why is it that its the same people under different names go around these forums picking out just the  few same developments when the problems involve dozens of others.( many of these so called know it alls are simply making matters worse and in almost every case it is them that are  rude and many have no direct interests in property in Spain or indeed a particualr development .

Please just let all have a say,these are emotive times for many,you may not agree with some and they may not agree with you but surely to then personally attack someone or indeed post negative and often incuarate ,damaging postings on a particular develpment is fruitless to the extreame.

Things will change in time perhaps it will prove to be a  very foolhardy property owner to have shot ones self in the foot because you aint going to change much anyway.
